AVOID!!! AVOID!!! AVOID!!! Indian Call Centres of the worst kind. If you finally manage to understand what they are saying, you'll realise they don't have the faintest clue. It takes 3-4 calls before you get through to a "manager", who is slightly more intelligible and is allowed to "think outside the script". DON’T EVER allow them to use the remote assistance function, as it will totally sc** up your PC as well as allowing them to read your emails.
10 GB allowance just evaporates into the ether, even when there’s no internet connecting programmes open (I use ShaPlus Broadband Meter). If you’re thinking of P 2 P just forget it between 7am and 12am, as you won’t be getting more than 60kbs and with the allowance vanishing mysteriously just surfing normally, you can’t afford it anyway.

These guys are so Bad, We had them in our appartment and it used to cause arguments because myself and my flat-mate thought that the other was doing excessive downloading which was causing them to trottle us. when my flatmate moved out I realised that they were just crap. I got on to customer service who had previously told us that we were being trottled for excessive use. This time they said that they are not able to provide 24Mb bb in my area. That would have been nice to know a few months earlier. were now downgraded to a 3Mb bb package which has never broken 2Mb and instead of it being trottled to 80's dial up speed It just stops working. This basically means you can forget about anything bar loading long pages of text, videos. games, downloads. forget it with these.

I will give them this. when you ring them they pick up. you will just end up wishing that they didn't. rang them today to complain and was told that it was my wireless router. I told them that i had a direct connection. they said that it would still most likely be the router. I told them I was connected directly to there non wireless router. they said that they could then see an issue on the line and that they would rectify the filter. I gave it two hours and rang back I spoke to someone else and was told that the last call I made had been recorded as there being a error on my side and nothing to do with filtering as I had been told. I'm not sure what that says for them but I will be checking if UPC has fiber down near me and getting rid of this shower asap.

Signed up to 24MB, only chance of ever seeing over 10 MB is 5 in the morning on a BanK Holiday Monday. Connection times out at least twice a day needing the router to be restarted, my brother has the same issue one mile down to the road. The unlimited package is only unlimited to 60GB a month as far as I can see from the cap limits they've imposed on be in line with their 'fair usage' policy. Will be movin to Magnet or Smart once contract up. Don't think the fact that vodafone have taken them over will do anything to keep the price down or improve on technical/customer service

Been with them for 2 years now. They had to give me 4 months free net just to keep me. My contracy runs out soon, I won't be staying.

At one point I was without the internet for a whole month. I phoned every single day only be fobbed off to a call centre in a foreign country where they asked me to repeat the same steps 500 times. Eventualy I got through to somebody who was doing their job properly, and he fixed the problem with 2 days.

Dreadful.

Awful. Have the 1mb connection and only get a couple of hours with 1mb speed then in the evening the connection goes and to get the connection back i have to make a phone call. Once it is back the speed is only around 0.3mb. Called them out several times and they didnt manage to fix anything. Switching to Chorus broadband 10mb tomorrow so hopefully all will be good

I'm on the BT 3mb BB and total talk phone service. I've nothing good to say about their BB, it varies wildly in speed from day to day, to impreove the speed u need to reboot the router - not acceptable. I get the impression they care even less than Eircom about their customers (they now seem to have thrown in the towel and outsourced their BB to Vodafone - like that'll make a difference).

I'm going to go with UPC 10 MB BB with lower contention ratio for cheaper.

Great if you want to use the Internet off peak. Useless if you need to use it between 18:30 - 23:00. I'm guessing its from all everyone logging on after work to download or play games. I get speeds of up to 5Mbps on a 8Mb connection. As a gamer myself, i cant play 5-6 days of the week due to horrible latency at this time. I'm a Warcraft addict and may have to stop playing, which is unacceptable :P
