To be honest looking at the ratings I have to say they don't deserve any more than 1 star. I'm still in my first month. I ordered broadband from digiweb and it took 4-5 weeks to get the modem delivered (and account set up etc). When I finally got it I had to phone support as the wireless wasn't working. 40 mins waiting in queue and 20 mins talking to tech expert he couldn't fix it and he gave me instructions to check all 11 channels and re boot pc and modem each time. 2 hours later, sent them email and they sent out another modem. I'm getting at best with ethernet connection 3.6mbps and most of the time the wireless is connecting but hard to get any website or speedtest to work. My package is the next generation broadband with speeds up to 8mbps. I think the clue is in the title, up to 8mbps. I'm going to read the small print and see if I can cancel. Definitly not a happy customer and regret getting into a contract with digiweb (if anyone from digiweb reads this please feel free to get in touch and rectify any of the above issues).

Plain and simple, Digiweb were supposed to register my domain name, which I paid for so assumed all was well. Then one day I was accessing my website to find myself on a banner page indicating the domain name was forsale. Upon contacting Digiweb they confessed a messup on their side. Offered me an alternative name.... which I said was not good enough as all my cards, brochures etc pointed to the website name I wanted and I wanted to speak to a supervisor. After a number of mails and phonecalls I have not once spoken to anyone in Digiweb.
Overall they have not only lost me my website, but my literature is now useless.
I don't mind if mistakes get made but it really is about how you handle them after and Digiweb have been absolutely scandalous.

Hi boys and girls ,
Here is what to do if you are NOT happy with Doggyweb.
Keep note of what your problem is , when it happens , date and time .
When you called the yoyo`s at the call centre and what they said , and YES GET THE PERSONS NAME .
Keep this as a record and if you are not happy with their response within the agreed amount of time that they said they would resolve your issue then you have you record to QUOTE " persons name "
and what exactly they said .

I have had some fun with them for years and I still owe them for a ( they say service provided ) I say they didnt provide the service so I am not going to pay .
Why should I legally pay for a service that THEY CANNOT provide, I dont care about their terms and condictions, my terms are " IF I DONT GET SOMETHING WHY SHOULD I PAY.

PLease for your own sake , keep a record and then you have no worries . If they dont honnor their staff`s word then dont pay and use you written notes. Send them an email or a written letter and keep a copy .
They will possibly send your overdue account to a debt collection company , if they do you will get a letter from the debt collection company and you should respond by sending on the email or a copy of the letter to the debt colerction company stating that you have not and will not pay because of the outstanding issues .
Give them the dates and times of all your calls and emails.

Also send your problems directly to the following address.kgogarty@digiweb.ie
This is the email of Ms Karen Gogarty , Karen is the Ceo`s secretary and she will send it on to the customer care taem , I am not saying that this will do any good BUT it will give you some protection with reagrd to your debt collection company. You can say to them that the Ceo Mr Colm Piercy and his secretary are aware of your issue and you are awaiting their personal reply ..

Now have a look at what I found on the web.

In one week we managed to reach our near 70gb usage limit. Now we are stuck on 0.12 mb/s download and 0.06 upload. It takes 100 seconds to load an 8 second long youtube video.Unfortunately no decent ISP appears to have made their way to Drogheda yet.I'm getting over 800 ms ping on all my CoD servers.Just avoid. ( we are subscribed to the 7 mb package )

Hello all....I've been a digiweb phone and broadband customer since May, and things were fine up to the end of August. Broadband slowed up alot and the phone service has interference. Despite an engineer replacing the antenna its still quite bad. I have no choice but to buy out of my contract as I need a reliable phone for my elderly parents. A neighbour a few doors down has the same problem, despite us having a clear line of sight to the Base antenna. Customer service listened but told me tough luck....I have to go back to eircom.....100% reliable but more expensive....you pay for what you get I suppose...

I have been a Digiweb customer for over 2 and a half years. It was pretty good during that time with only a few outages due to equipment failure. I currently have the 8MB wireless Metro connection. All of a sudden about 2 weeks ago, I started having connection issues. Noticed on the internal wireless router that WAN connection was dropping out. It became pretty much unusable.

I phoned up customer support and they told me that the signal to noise ratio was very low and they would send out an engineer to fix that. Finally, a whole week later, the services guy called around and replaced the antenna on the outside of the house but he didn't seem hopeful. Even though we have excellent line of sight he informed me that we are possibly too far from their aerial.

So I asked...why are we suddenly too far away after over 2 years of good connection?

Basically, what he said was that DigiWeb recently did some work on their equipment to cater for increased customer capacity in the city. The downside of this seems to be a decrease in the range of the wireless. There was nothing more he could offer except a satellite connection. He even offered there and then to remove the equipment.

Not what you call a great customer experience!!

I moved my company account from eircom earlier this year to this shower of amatures and boy was it a mistake ,my internet was down for a few hours on most days and as regards trying to get talking to somebody in customer care it would be easier get the euro million numbers ,when i finall had enough of these wasters and decided to go back to good old eircom it then got worse getting to the point where they would not release my lines to eircom ,after days of trying, nobody( not even the smart ass that sold me down the river with what digiweb would save me) could get my lines released so i was left with no option but to buy out of digiweb, they really screwed me and cost my company alot of expence by way of loss of earnings and buy out of contract fees i am in business for 17 years and i thought long and hard before i wrote this as i like to see everyone make a living but the way digiweb treat people they have to be called to order. MY ADVICE RUN A MILE FROM THESE SHOWER .
