East Cork Broadband was set up in late 2004 to provide Internet access in the Midleton area. At that time there were many areas where broadband was not available due to the slow progress of mainstream providers like Eircom. Over the last few years we have brought service to several communities such as Dungourney and Aghada. This has helped both business and home users alike to move into the digital age.

East Cork Broadband Review by Dave (Midleton town lad!), August 26, 2010
I have had East Cork Broadband at home for about 3 or 4 years in Midleton. I have a wireless router, a Mac Mini as a media centre, iTunes, uTorrent, CCTV, etc. running on it and it always works flawlessly. Very happy with it. I use o2 dongle on the road, uuuuggghhh, can’t wait to get home to my REAL broadband!
Well done, keep up the good work.

Excellent service. I work from my home office for a major international company.
I conduct regular video conferences with colleagues around the world and the service is so quick that nobody realises that I am out in the sticks in Co Cork. Despite using the system for 8 to 10 hours a day and transferring a mass of data I have had only two short service interruptions in that time both of which were fixed very quickly with great response.
East Cork Broadband is a fine example of a small enterprise delivering world class performance – highly recommended
