No service most of the time for the past week.
What is hapapening.
Above is my latest speedtest result, also their new website which was due online 4 days ago is not live yet. they can’t even get that right
I have been a customer of this group for at least 5 years, at first it was fine but after a while I was having problems, I called a got the runaround from them, no matter what I said it wasn’t there equipment, I finally had to contact ComReg, after they contacted Leinster Broadband it suddenly started to work fine. I had a few hiccups since but nothing major, about 9 weeks ago my broadband just stopped working, although showing an internet connection on my PC I couldn’t even manage to open Google home page, I contacted them to explain, but they said all was ok on their end, I got someone in to look at my PC’s, all was fine, I called several times, left messages, sent text’s and emails all with no reply. eventually they called me back to arrange sending out a tech, he arrived one Monday morning, did a few ping tests and other things, reset the router etc, then he seen exactly what I was seen, the speed was between 0.05- 0.25 download, I asked him to report this to the owner and he said he would, I called again a few days later, no reply, and again, texts and emails send, the owner called me and said he was in his office and could see that a new connector was not done right and his tech would return to fix it, a week later he returned, put in a new cable, changed a black box and still no good, they told me they wanted to test the signal and wanted to sent the results to the data centre and it would take a few days, 2 weeks later and I’m doing this review. I called and text for the last 3 days and again,,, no reply. My problem is not that they cant fix it, it’s the fact that they are giving me the runaround, no communication whatsoever, all while still taking my money every month. I hear now they are starting up a phone and TV service, I assume the phone service will be smoke signals and the TV will be Black and White. In saying all I have said these guy’s are really nice people to talk to when it eventually happens, most of the reason why I have gave them every opportunity to correct the problem. I fell now (again) that I have no choice but to contact ComReg plus legal advice to get a refund for the past 3 months.
