We have been customers of Reach Broadband since 2006. We have always found the service and response rates to be of the highest standards. Dale and Anthony have always been very professional and helpful in their dealings with us, we are living in the countryside and would have been lost without broadband over the last few years.
We recently installed a VOIP phone and Dale helped us to overcome the technical difficulties we initially encountered. We would have no hesitation in recommending Reach Broadband to others in a similar situation to ourselves – in fact we have done this in the past! The only issue I would have is that relative to International standards we in Ireland pay too much for broadband.

I’ve only been with Reach Broadband for a few months, but so far I am incredibly impressed. After having dealt with Eircom, Aptus, O2 & Ice Broadband over the years, I can’t begin to describe how refreshing it is to have an ISP where I truly believe that they know what they’re talking about.

Their customer service has been top notch and I would recommend them wholeheartedly on this alone, Sam was very helpful with an issue I had (turned out the children had unplugged the power to the wireless router).

I’m surprised to see any negative comments because I’ve been delighted with the service & speeds I receive from Reach Broadband. Unlike other providers the line speed doesn’t vary either, even during peak times. I could get cheaper, but I doubt if I could get better.

One thing I would like to see is their website to be updated as it’s a bit basic, but apart from that can’t think of anything negative to say.

Called their technician today as I wanted to view my CCTV on my phone while at work, spoke to a guy called Dale. Told me that there where several ways I could do it but recommended a static public IP put on my connection. He called over to me within a hour and had it all up and running, even helped me setup an app on my phone to view my cameras.

Will, and do recommend Reach Broadband to anyone looking for Broadband.

Keep up the good work.

Excellent service. The speed you pay for is the speed you get and it is very consistent. I can’t remember when the Internet was down, so good is the service. I do recall having to ring once to resolve a problem, but that was no fault of Reach Broadband. In any event, Anthony was out promptly & had the problem resolved within a very short time. I am very happy with this service.

When we moved to Kildavin 2 years ago we ordered Reach Broadband. We rang the office 4 times to order a connection and each time got “Dale” on phone. He promised to get out to install it but never turned up kept fobbing us off. We gave up and one day met the Reach van. We went over to give out but it was not “Dale” but Anthony the engineer in town. A top guy who was very professional he sorted it all out and in a few days he put in our broadband for us and no problems at all. He went through the install with us on site and made sure that we were happy with the way the cables were and a very neat job was done I have to say. Anytime we have a question or problem we call Anthony and he is really helpful but if we ring the office we get nowhere so its a good broadband just bad service from their office or “Dale” if you want help ring “Anthony” nice guy hope that he reads this.

Contention contention contention ! I have 3mb connection with reach broadband but am lucky to ‘reach’ 1 mb in the evenings and at weekends, which is exactly when I want to use the service as am out at work during the day. I rang their customer support and provided screenshots of the poor connection speeds but they just told me that it was due to the contention ratio and for my 3mb connection I am lucky to be getting a 1 mb download ????? Lucky ? I don’t feel very lucky when I can’t even watch rte player in the evenings or even watch a video on YouTube, what’s the point in me spending 40 Euro a month on that kind of service, none only I caught in a contract with them now. You have been warned !

We have had Reach Broadband for the past few years, the only issue I have is I would like to be able to download at 5MEG at night, I get 3 or 4MEG max at night. We got an Xbox a Christmas and I had to get a friend to set it up as my son has some issues. I guess he is happy as he is always on it and next door come over to use our Xbox as their one will not work on Eircom broadband as its too slow. Last year during the snow we had an issue with the modem and their engineer came out to us in a land rove to fix it, I was very impressed that they came out as the roads were closed due to the ice and snow.

A little slow getting invoices from them at first but after a few phone calls and giving them my email address I now get them every month.

Only issues I really have is like I said, I pay for 5MEG and would like to get my 5MEG at night not just 3 or 4, all in all the service is good but could be a little faster.

Very reliable and excellent customer service .
Highly recomennended as a provider as I listen to a lot of music and download sizable amounts of music files.
Upgrading was just a phone call and all members of staff always have been very professional.
