HOPE THIS HELPS!
As of 07/11/2012 WTS Broadband is no longer trading.
The network has been taken over by CELTIC BROADBAND LIMITED.
Existing customers should all now have internet access and work will commence shortly on upgrading the network infrastructure to improve speed and reliability.
Customers are advised to pay the same direct debit payments as are in place as all funds are now paid to Celtic Broadband Limited.
For further information, help or support please contact Celtic Broadband on 087 162 7070

Wish there was a NO star rating for this man, he doesnt even deserve a one star rating!

Service is absolutely ridiculous with this Man, i tried to see if his company was registered cant find anything, i have taken pictures of the speed and sent it to john got no reply, tried ringing him constantly, he is a Rude little man, he gives the poor man speech as above that he is selling his company and this is why the service is bad, for the past 2 weeks we have had nothing!
He calls to collect money instead of direct debit, and says he needs CASH, this august he needed CASH to pay the college fees for his son.
How unprofessional is this, he will collect his money as nice as pie but when you have a problem, he is having a problem, the constant threats of the company closing and leaving you in limbo.

Had enough with WTS!
Our service was patchy at best and often no service at all for days at a time. If I called John, who owns the company he is rude and not helpful at all, that is when you can get an answer at all. Our service went down for 2 weeks. Teenage kids and no Facebook, not a happy environment! Could not get hold of John or WTS so canceled direct debit and called around for new supplier.
I called Celtic Broadband and ordered their 1mb home lite service. They came and put service in 2 days after ordering and I must comment on the professional level of service and helpful staff, even fixed my sound on my PC and installed anti virus free.
With WTS we were paying €34.99 for 3mb broadband, but getting about 0.2mb at best, when it was working. With the new broadband from Celtic Broadband we are paying €19.99 a month for 1mb and getting reliable speeds of 1.4mb.
Very happy now, kids love it too. Will be happy to recommend Celtic Broadband.

I have to agree with Maryrose. I have never meet a more arrogant person in my life.
When I told him I was not getting the service I was paying for he ([name removed by ratemyisp admin]) told me he didn’t care and if I was not happy to go elsewhere.Again he gave the poor mouth and the business was just not worth the hassle and “it was the joy of owning the business he could do what ever he wanted.” I told him to stick his poor service and would advise anyone to go elsewhere because this man just does not care about anyone only himself.

Comreg are a useless and ineffective bunch. Don’t waste your time.
They take whatever response the company (any and every telecommunications company complains of) and the customer making the complaint is told to **** off.
My experience.
Comreg are fully operating as part of the banjaxed telecoms so-called industry and will not endorse any bad press of their buddies.

We have been paying the 35 Euro monthly fee even though the connection is was below the specified speeds on their website.
The customer service is unbelievably poor and to boot if your lucky enough to get John (the guy in charge of the shambles of an operation on the phone) he is at best rude and often arrogant.

Occasional drops of service are understandable in the context of wireless relays in rural locations but overcharging on a substandard service are not.

I am sorry to say I have been left with no option but to submit a complaint with comreg and would honestly advise anyone else not to use this service.

[Name removed by ratemyisp owner]‘s response to this (to paraphrase) was that he didn’t give a **** about Comreg and would probably be out of business within a month anyway -( I wonder why?)
